Enjoy the Lunar Chinese New Year or Spring Festival 2017 in Manila, the Philippines with unique traditions and rituals. Many Filipinos are Tsinoys who are people of mixed Filipino and Chinese heritage. That’s why Chinese New Year is a major holiday in the Philippines. In Hokkien language that most Chinese Filipinos speak, Lunar New Year greeting is Kiong Hee Huat Tsai. That means “Congratulations and Be Prosperous”.
