The Philippines is the only country in the entire world that celebrates Christmas season the longest. As soon as the first month ending in “-ber” roll in, everyone gets into the holiday spirit. At the beginning of September, you’ll start hearing Christmas carols being played on the radio in shopping malls.

For this year, the decorations will show stained glass décor with images of The Nativity. The ceremony started at the Tower & Exchange Plaza fountain area, at Ayala Triangle.

Various spectators witnessed the ceremonial lighting and brought out their cameras to capture the blue and purple themed lights which will light Ayala Avenue for the rest of the Christmas season.
